Abstracts Submission

Submission Deadline: November 15, 2013

For information on preparing your final poster, see the Poster Guidelines

Authors interested in presenting a poster at the IEEE LSGCC should submit an abstract in the form of a one-page paper that summarizes the eventual poster to be presented at the Conference. The paper should represent work at the leading edge topics at the frontiers of science and technology in healthcare, medicine and biology, and convey the challenges and future directions for the field. Authors whose abstracts are accepted will be invited to present a poster at the IEEE Life Sciences Grand Challenges Conference and meet and discuss their ideas with the experts invited to speak at the same conference. Further, selected abstracts will be posted on the IEEE Life Sciences portal and newsletter.

One-Page Paper Guidelines

To help you prepare your one-page paper/abstract for submission, be sure your paper is formatted according to the IEEE Conference Paper Requirements. Please pay special attention to margins, single column format, do not put header/footer/page numbers. We recommend that you use the downloadable template [doc]. In particular, please ensure that your paper, including any figures and references, will fit on a single page.

Each Corresponding Author is limited to one submission for the conference. The author that submits the paper will attend the conference to present the paper and is responsible for communicating with the Conference Organizers and the paper’s coauthors. Papers are limited to one page in length. Authors should only submit originally written, unpublished work to LSGCC13.

LSGCC13 has only a one-step submission process. The corresponding or presenting author is required to complete the registration process and pay the registration fee prior to the conference.
